Quick answer
No. All five operating casinos are in Colombo (City of Dreams, Bellagio, Bally's, Casino Marina and Majestic Pride). We found none in Kandy, Galle, Bentota, Mirissa or Ella. The nearest casino for the south is Colombo, by road or rail.
Why Colombo only
Inside Asian Gaming lists the five operating casinos, all in Colombo, and the Inland Revenue Department counts six licensed casino operators with five operating. We found no licence for any other town. Why licences cluster in Colombo is not yet confirmed.
